kudos

I noticed the Scenario Template and like it.  :) Keep up the good work! MrHen. 12:27, 17 Apr 2007 (CDT)

Category:Marathon fanart authors

[1][2][3] <- Were these edits made under the assumption that "artist" and "Marathon fanart author" were equivalent terms? If not, do you have some specific objection to having a separate category for creators of [?stand-alone] fanart, as distinct from textures and other scenario components (as well as music)? --Andrew Nagy 14:51, 9 November 2007 (CST)

Yup. No objection to separate categories; I just wasn't aware of the distinction. (An artist is an artist, right? ☺) The category page(s) should be edited to explain the difference, and I suggest finding more descriptive names too, as Category:Artists sounds like a parent of both groups. Maybe Category:Scenario artists and Category:Fan artists? ⇔ ChristTrekker 15:07, 9 November 2007 (CST)

pfhorpedia

Is the discussion for a Traxus-Pfhorpedia merger still going on? I recently took over the site after finding it abandoned by GPT, and Im open to the idea of a merger.--Vanguard 15:56, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

I believe the consensus was that they would remain separate. There were various concerns about licensing and advertising that seemed insurmountable, IIRC. ⇔ ChristTrekker 20:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Though I disagree because of the split traffic factor (and that while your gameplay/level pages are of the highest quality, your story-related pages are lacking, and as pfhorpedia is the opposite, I think we would be better together) I respect your decision. Message me there if you ever change your mind. Best of luck, FROG BLAST THE VENT CORE!--Vanguard 01:53, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

I agree the two would be better together, due to the split traffic. But it was not really my decision. I think it was mainly a practical consideration based on licensing. If the two were to merge, I think most people leaned non-Wikia at least partially because Traxus doesn't have adverts. ⇔ ChristTrekker 19:45, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

I can understand, even when logged in, there is still one bar for advertisements across the top. As for the licensing, I read the the discussion and Im still unclear as to what the issue is exactly.--Vanguard 01:07, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Also I feel as though I must add that GPT disappeared from the internet some time into the discussion, and acted immaturely before that.--Vanguard 02:59, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Traxus?!!?!?!?!?!

I just found a mockery of Traxus that I believe has been going on some time now. The pages are somewhat similar, but the level of vandalism is ridiculous. http://traxus.nothorns.org/traxus/Main_Page is where you can find it.--Vanguard 02:56, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Categorization

Thanks for the note on my user page :) Obviously I can add everything that's needed, however those pages are still WIP and I think they're going to stay that way for a long time. Regards, Willful 17:48, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

A wiki, almost by definition, is always a WIP. ☺ ⇔ ChristTrekker 17:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
I meant that I was planning to add maps first, then complete everything needed on the wiki pages. Since my copy of aleph one is away from my own computer, that will take a long time. Willful 18:19, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

UTF8

Since you're an admin, may I ask you to remove the pages with an ugly name ? For example, see [4], but there are other pages like this one lying around in Special:AllPages, most of those being redirects. Thanks, Willful 15:02, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Spam

Please delete much of the articles I last touched. Thank you :) Willful 17:03, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Now that I moved on to categorize image, Special:ShortPages is probably an easier way. Willful 22:16, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Slideshow Support?

Hey again. Does this wiki support slideshows at all (something similar to Wikia's)? I think it would be great to view individual terminals, since there still doesn't seem to be a good way to implement them in a non-cluttered way as of yet. As a side question, what type of wiki is this (MediaWiki, ShoutWiki, a Wikia offshoot, ect)? Editing seems mostly identical to Wikia, though certain customization options seem to be lacking.

Sorry if I sound like I'm always asking for new things to be implemented, but I really want to keep adding to this wiki. --Hathomirr 02:41, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
