Is it OK to use TGI as a short form for further articles? --Ranthoron 14:53, 1 Nov 2006 (CST)

I would say it is okay as long as there is a definition of the acronym the first time it is used: "The Gray Incident (TGI)". A link to this article would wrap around "The Gray Incident" and then everywhere else in the article "TGI" could be used.
If this was a more common acronym I would say go for it, but I generally associate "TGI" with a particular restaurant chain. Things like AI or M2 generally do not need an explicit definition. It is still proper use to give an explanation the first time, but whatever.
Obviously, this does not help you too much if the articles that refer to The Gray Incident are short and would only have one reference. All in all, it is only a tad bit more typing and it improves the readability and professionalism of Traxus.
All of the above, naturally, is my opinion. MrHen 17:52, 1 Nov 2006 (CST)
It's only about the Level articles; should it be TGI:Levels:<levelname> or The Gray Incident:Levels:<levelname> --Ranthoron 12:00, 2 Nov 2006 (CST)
I would make a category: Category:The Gray Incident levels and keep the prefix as "The Gray Incident". I do not think we have come up with a standard for the prefixes, however, so I would suggest waiting a bit. The last time I talked to User:ecpeterson we chatted briefly about what we should do with them. My preference is to not have any prefixes at all. He mentioned a possible alternative of adding any necessary distinction at the end off the article a la Wikipedia.
I would hold off making articles for the levels unless you plan on actually creating the full article. We do not need any more stubs for now. I suppose this is really a question for User:ecpeterson, seeing as he is the maintainer. Using "TGI" would not bother me.MrHen 13:07, 2 Nov 2006 (CST)
Okay, I think the official word is to remove all prefixes. Just leave everything without distinction unless there is a collision in which case do as Wikipedia does and put the distinction in parentheses. So "TGI:Levels:<levelname>" is unnecessary. It should simply be "<levelname>" unless there is a collision in which case make it "<levelname> (The Gray Incident)" or "<levelname> (TGI)". MrHen 21:58, 4 Nov 2006 (CST)
Okay, so I'll switch to "<levelname>" or "<levelname> (TGI)". --Ranthoron 05:06, 5 Nov 2006 (CST)
