Rubicon Standard vs Rubicon X

Which version of the scenario should this page cover? Can anyone who's played Rubicon X comment on whether it's really good enough to completely forget about the original? I played little, but disliked the new opening level; I vaguely remember not knowing where to go and never managing to reach a buffer or recharger before dying. Are the Pfhor and Salinger planks mostly unchanged after that?

Actually, what I should probably really do is make this a disambiguation page unless a unanimous decision is reached; but I think instead I'll wait a while and see if someone else does it. --Andrew Nagy 22:08, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

For the most part, Rubicon X is the same, plus minor bugfixes and a handful of genuinely new levels. imo, this page should cover the new version, since that's the most recent incarnation of the scenario, as produced by the original creators. We can have a section on the page that discusses the differences between the two releases, but I don't think that it (for the moment) warrants its own separate page. --Ecpeterson 02:59, 4 September 2007 (CDT)
I agree with Ecpeterson. X is now the "real"/"official"/"blessed" version of Rubicon. Previous versions were merely that, earlier versions. If the Rubicon article should cover the history of development and mention changes, that would be fine. ⇔ ChristTrekker 10:20, 4 September 2007 (CDT)
