Notes:

Drones are mechanical, non-sentient beings that defend the Pfhor. They are equipped with cannons on their undersides which fire energy bolts. In Marathon 2, Durandal used a virus to reprogram some of the drones to fight on the human side. Drones are vulnerable to fusion bolts, fighter staff-bolts and compiler energy bolts.

Classes

Drones are differently colored to denote their model:

Minor drone (Red/Blue/Green)

The minor drones have red eyes, blue trim and green lights. They are less powerful than their major counterparts and fire slow-moving green bolts.

Vitality: 40

Major drone (Red/Yellow/Purple)

The major drones have red eyes, yellow trim and purple lights. They are more powerful than their minor counterparts and fire fast-moving purple bolts. When the game's difficulty level is set to "Total Carnage", no minor drones ever appear. Instead, you will see only major drones.

Minor angry drone (Green/Blue/Green)

The minor angry drones have green eyes, blue trim and green lights. They are less powerful than their major counterparts and fire slow-moving green bolts. There is no noticeable difference between these and the regular minor drones.
